What is an OmaHeck...
It is likely you have never heard of an OmaHeck. We kind of made it up. Here's a little history:
When I moved to Utah in 1990, I was introduced to a brand new phrase: "Oh my heck!" I guess it means "wow", "no way", or "that's surprising." It serves as a multi-purpose expression and possibly a swear :-0 (as in "Oh my heck, you are a jerk!)
When the family left Utah and settled in Omaha, NE (2004), we became "OmaHecks."

Good question...
Sunday, Dane and I were sitting in church and he was looking at an album that Me-mah had made for him and Tate. It has pictures of the prophets, families, the Savior, etc. He began looking rather intently at the Christus from Temple Square:
Suddenly he looked up at me and asked, "Dad, if heaven is in space, do we become astronauts when we die?"
Suddenly he looked up at me and asked, "Dad, if heaven is in space, do we become astronauts when we die?"
I'll admit that I didn't have a great answer for him in the moment, but I am glad he is thinking and that he is willing to ask me questions.
The Intro
iPod, cell phone, wireless internet, yadda yadda yadda...
I guess that will all this other stuff under my belt, I ought to start a blog. My way of keeping in touch.
Look for pictures, stories, etc.
We'll try and keep these posts fresh and relevant.
peace
