Here's a video from some friends' front yard in Omaha. They live down the hill from our old place, so this is only about 60% of the view we had.
Mind you, this is not a municipality or public show of some kind they are peering at. This is a bunch of citizens, a few adult beverages, and several thousand dollars of pyrotechnics. The show slows down about 3 am.

This rock formation oustide Evanston, WY is named Devil's Slide. Would you want to slide down this decline??? In front is a Union Pacific locomotive ("The Power")

That was so cool when we lived there. We really just bought a few sparklers and enjoyed everyone else's spoils.
Crazy! There was nothing of the sort in San Diego for the 4th OR Utah for the 24th. I miss Omaha fireworks...especially the college world series!
